The Itinerary
The classic hike starts from Rocamadour and leads to the fortified mills, former wheat mills converted into defensive structures during the Hundred Years' War.

The Fortified Mills
The Moulin du Saut and Moulin de Tournefeuille are exceptional witnesses to medieval history. These former flour mills were fortified in the 14th century to protect the local population during troubled times.
Today in ruins, they retain their imposing towers and thick walls, offering a fascinating glimpse into the past. The site is particularly photogenic, with the mills reflected in the calm waters of the Alzou.
